Introduction to the Operation Process of Laser Constant Temperature Welding System
Before diving into the details, let’s briefly understand what laser constant temperature welding is. Laser constant temperature welding utilizes precise laser positioning and accurate temperature control to provide a highly flexible solution for the introduction of lead-free soldering technology in the evolving modern electronics manufacturing industry. It is widely applied in industries such as 3C/5G, automotive/semiconductor, medical/food, industrial fields, and optical communication, particularly in welding scenarios involving optical components and FPCs (Flexible Printed Circuits).
Operation Process of the Laser Constant Temperature Welding System:
The computer software sets the welding parameters and issues the welding command. The laser module emits a laser beam, which processes the product through a semiconductor constant-temperature coaxial monitoring welding head. An infrared thermometer rapidly collects the temperature data of the welding point and feeds the signal back to the laser power supply controller. The controller then performs high-speed PID algorithm calculations to automatically adjust the laser power of the pump source, ensuring constant-temperature welding at the target point.
Components Involved in the Laser Constant Temperature Welding System:
Computer Software: Constant-Temperature Soldering Parameter Configuration Software
This software integrates visual imaging and temperature control, primarily used in constant-temperature soldering and plastic welding processes. It utilizes an imaging lens and CCD camera for visual positioning and an infrared thermometer for temperature regulation while controlling the laser output for welding. The software allows adjustment of welding parameters and system settings, displaying real-time temperature data and welding results during the process.
Laser Module: Direct Diode Laser (DDL)
Compared to traditional lasers, this semiconductor laser offers higher electro-optical conversion efficiency and lower power consumption. Its compact and user-friendly design, along with flexible laser output, enables seamless integration with system equipment.
Welding Head: Coaxial Temperature-Sensing Vision Laser Welding Head
Equipped with a coaxial CCD camera and monitoring system, this welding head precisely positions the workpiece. Upon receiving the positioning signal, the laser control unit directs the laser beam to irradiate the target area for a preset duration.
Infrared Thermometer: Closed-Loop Feedback Control System for Laser Processing Power
This system enables real-time temperature measurement at laser processing points, with a range of 100°C to 400°C. It can transmit feedback signals via serial communication to other laser systems and operates via external IO control signals, issuing an IO signal upon task completion.
Controller: Laser Diode Controller
The laser constant-temperature welding system by Songsheng Optoelectronics uses laser diodes as the heat source, enabling localized non-contact heating. Its advantages include non-contact operation, no need for soldering tip replacement, and a highly focused laser beam.
