3.1 Collimator Mounting
The collimator is secured to external components through threaded connection.

3.2 Fiber Optic Installation
This series of collimators is compatible with most industrial optical fibers, utilizing a fiber connector block for fiber insertion.

3.2.1 Fiber Installation Procedure
To install the fiber, first unscrew the protective sleeve at the top of the connector block. Then carefully align the fiber connector with the guide hole on the block and insert it gently until fully seated. Finally, tighten the locking nut on the fiber connector in a clockwise direction to secure the connection.

4.1 Collimator Lens Maintenance
The collimator lens is specifically designed for fiber optic connectors and is maintainable/replaceable. Regular cleaning every 3-5 months is recommended. Prior to performing any maintenance or replacement procedures, it is essential to wear anti-static gloves or finger cots to prevent contamination of the lens surface from oils and dust on hands.
